Supreme Disappointment: Roofing Nightmare in PA
I'm still trying to wrap my head around the absolute disaster that Supreme Roofing made of my roof replacement. As someone who's worked in construction, I thought I knew what to expect, but these guys were a whole different story. First, they showed up late to the initial consultation, and then they proceeded to give me a quote that was significantly higher than the other companies I'd consulted. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, thinking maybe they were just really good at what they do. Boy, was I wrong. The team that came to do the replacement was unprofessional, left trash all over my yard, and seemed to be in a huge rush to finish the job as quickly as possible. I specifically asked for a certain type of shingle, but when I came home from work, they'd installed the wrong kind. When I called to complain, they gave me the runaround, transferring me from person to person, and eventually telling me that it was my fault for not 'clearly communicating' my preferences. Clear communication? Are you kidding me? I have the email chain right here, and it explicitly states the type of shingle I wanted. To add insult to injury, they're now refusing to fix the mistake unless I pay an additional $2,000. Supreme Roofing's 10-year warranty seems like a joke at this point. My advice? Stay far, far away from these folks. The stress and headache just aren't worth it. One star is even too generous for this company.
