Disappointing Experience with SSI: Lack of Transparency and Unfulfilled Promises
I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received from Services Santé International (Servimed) Inc. Despite their promising mission and vision, my experience was marred by a lack of transparency and unfulfilled promises. I had high hopes when I first contacted them, given their partnership with esteemed medical professionals like Dr. Osvaldo Hector Ardisana and Dr. Yendry Ventura. However, the reality was far from what I expected. The economic restrictions in Cuba, which they mentioned, seemed to be a constant excuse for the unavailability of medical supplies and the need for alternative solutions. What bothered me the most was the lack of clear communication regarding the availability of certain treatments and the potential delays. I was under the impression that they had everything under control, but it seemed like they were winging it most of the time. The team's responsiveness was also inconsistent, with some requests taking an inordinate amount of time to be addressed. I understand that they receive a high volume of requests, but that's no excuse for the lack of priority attention to urgent cases. My case, which involved a herniated disc, was supposed to be urgent, but it felt like I was just another number in their system. The only positive aspect of my experience was the initial consultation with one of their medical professionals, who seemed knowledgeable and empathetic. However, that's where the positivity ended. Overall, I would not recommend Services Santé International (Servimed) Inc. to anyone seeking international health services. Their inability to deliver on their promises and lack of transparency are major red flags. Perhaps they should focus more on building strong relationships with their patients, as they claim to value, rather than just paying lip service to it.
