Disappointing Experience with Dr. Matthews' Office
I recently had the misfortune of visiting Dr. Bruce Matthews' dental practice in Wilmington, DE, and I must say it was a thoroughly underwhelming experience. As someone who values professionalism and compassion, I was shocked by the lack of attention to detail and the seemingly apathetic attitude of the staff. The waiting room was comfortable, I'll give them that, but the actual care I received was subpar. My appointment was scheduled for a routine cleaning, but it felt rushed and my dentist seemed more interested in getting me in and out than actually addressing my concerns. When I asked about a specific issue I've been having with my teeth, I was brushed off with a vague answer and told to 'just use some sensitivity toothpaste.' Not exactly the kind of personalized care I was expecting from a practice that claims to be 'committed to providing exceptional, personalized care.' The technology they use may be state-of-the-art, but it's no substitute for genuine human interaction and a staff that actually cares about their patients' well-being. Needless to say, I won't be returning to Dr. Matthews' practice anytime soon. Maybe they should focus more on the people side of dentistry rather than just relying on fancy equipment. One star from me, and that's being generous.
