The Division of Indian Work (DIW) is a non-profit organization that has been serving the Native community for over 70 years. With a mission to support and strengthen urban American Indian people, DIW focuses on delivering culturally-based education, traditional healing approaches, and leadership development programs. DIW's Health Services operate a culturally specific food shelf, provide services for pregnant moms, work on teen pregnancy prevention, and offer traditional healthy foods for program participants. The organization also provides services for youth in long-term foster care, including education, assistance, and housing.
