I'm still trying to process the whirlwind of emotions I felt during my visit to Clay Road Animal Clinic. As an anxious pet owner, I was drawn to their promises of 'friendly, compassionate service' and 'loving attention' for my fur baby. What I got was a rushed, impersonal experience that left me feeling unheard and unsatisfied. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that the clinic was understaffed and overwhelmed. The waiting room was crowded, with pets and owners alike waiting for what felt like an eternity to be seen. When we finally got to the exam room, the vet seemed distracted, barely looking up from her notes as she asked us questions. The 'cutting-edge veterinary technology' they touted on their website was nowhere to be found - unless you count the ancient-looking scale they used to weigh my pet. The Magnawave therapy they offered sounded intriguing, but when I asked about it, the staff seemed unsure of how it worked or what benefits it provided. It was like they were just checking boxes on a list rather than truly caring for our well-being. As we left, I felt a pang of regret for not doing more research before choosing Clay Road Animal Clinic. If you're a pet owner in the Houston or Katy area, I'd caution you to look elsewhere for veterinary care. Maybe they'll get their act together someday, but until then, I'm taking my business (and my pet's health) elsewhere.
