Underwhelming Experience at Mount Gambier Central
I'm still trying to figure out why I left feeling so meh about Mount Gambier Central Caravan Park. The location is indeed central, but that's about where the excitement ends. Our cabin, while clean, felt like it belonged in a 90s time capsule - outdated decor and a distinct lack of USB ports (who doesn't have USB ports in 2023?). The 'peaceful location' they advertise? More like 'next to a busy road with constant traffic noise.' Don't even get me started on the Wi-Fi, which was slower than my grandma's gossip circle. The staff, although friendly, seemed overwhelmed during peak hours, and the 'country hospitality' felt a bit like a forced smile. Maybe I'm just spoiled, but for the price, I expected more. The nearby attractions like the Blue Lake and Umpherston Sinkhole were definitely the highlights of our trip - not the park itself. If you're a fan of overpriced, basic accommodations with subpar amenities, then this is the place for you! Otherwise, keep looking. P.S. - The 10% discount for Kui Parks members is a nice touch, but it doesn't make up for the overall lackluster experience.
