As a long-time fan of Cafe 63, I'm disappointed to report that my recent visit to their flagship store in Brisbane was underwhelming. The queues were manageable, but the wait for food was excessively long. I ordered the signature breakfast plate, which arrived lukewarm and lacking the 'legendary' flair I've come to expect. The coffee, usually a highlight, was over-extracted and bitter. The in-house flower shop, a unique touch, seemed like an afterthought, with wilted blooms on display. Perhaps it was an off day, but the usually 'friendly faces' were replaced by harried expressions and a sense of disorganization. With 38 locations and 4.5 million customers annually, I expected more attention to detail and a better overall experience.
