Customer Review
Luxury Without the Service
I visited CityCenterDC last weekend, expecting a high-end experience given the sleek marketing and luxurious storefronts. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by subpar service and overpriced everything. The Celebration Alley summer festival, which I was looking forward to, was poorly organized with long lines and underwhelming performances. I tried to get some expert advice from the store managers, but they seemed more interested in making a sale than actually helping me find what I needed. The Pink Lanterns, while pretty, didn't make up for the lack of unity and joy that CityCenterDC promises. For a destination that claims to be committed to providing a luxurious and joyful experience, I left feeling anything but. Unless they step up their game, I'd recommend avoiding CityCenterDC for anything more than a quick, overpriced snack.
