Underwhelming Experience in the Rockies
I stopped by The Stumbling Moose Lodge in Pitkin, Colorado, expecting a warm and welcoming atmosphere, but what I got was a lackluster experience that left me feeling like just another face in the crowd. The tiny houses, while quaint, felt cramped and overpriced for what you're getting. The bar and grill, which I was looking forward to, served subpar meals that seemed to be made with more emphasis on presentation than actual taste. The live music and events, instead of being a highlight, felt forced and awkward, like they were trying too hard to create a vibe that just wasn't there. What really got me, though, was the service. Our server seemed put off by our presence, and it took ages to get even the simplest of requests fulfilled. For a place that prides itself on community and creating memories, The Stumbling Moose Lodge fell woefully short. Maybe it was an off day, but my visit didn't leave me with the urge to return or recommend it to others.
