More Like Reel Nightmare
I'm not one to usually write reviews, but my experience at Reel Livin' Resort and Campground was a total disaster. As an avid outdoorsman, I was excited to spend a week fishing and exploring Lost Land Lake. However, from the moment we arrived, things went downhill. The full hook-up site we booked was tiny, with barely enough room for our RV and truck. The 'sandy beach' was more like a muddy shoreline, and the boat launch was crowded and disorganized. We rented a pontoon boat for the day, but it was old and had mechanical issues, leaving us stranded on the lake for hours. The Bar & Grill had a limited menu and the service was slow, even when it wasn't busy. The WIFI was spotty at best, and the game room was a joke - a few old arcade games and a broken pool table. The worst part was the noise level - the live music on the water was loud and went late into the night, making it impossible to sleep. And don't even get me started on the snowmobiling trails, which were poorly marked and maintained. For the prices they're charging, I expected a lot more. Unfortunately, our 'Reel Good Time' turned out to be a reel bad time. Unless they make some serious improvements, I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.
