Stress-Free Experience? Not for My Pet
I recently visited Sabino Veterinary Care with my cat, Luna, and was really looking forward to a stress-free experience, as their website and reviews promised. Unfortunately, our visit was anything but relaxing. The waiting room, although nicely decorated with comfortable couch seating and a beautiful view of the canyon, was overcrowded and noisy. We waited for over 30 minutes past our scheduled appointment time, which was already longer than I had anticipated. When we were finally called back, the exam room was cold and lacked any calming music or pheromone diffusers that I've seen at other vets. Dr. Radtke seemed rushed and didn't take the time to fully explain Luna's diagnosis or treatment options, leaving me feeling confused and concerned. The front desk staff, while friendly, seemed disorganized and had trouble finding our records. For a hospital that prides itself on honest and consistent communication, I was disappointed by the lack of clarity and transparency throughout our visit. The state-of-the-art facility and beautiful views couldn't make up for the subpar service we received. Perhaps they were just having an off day, but as a pet owner, I expect more from a veterinary care provider, especially one that's been voted as one of the best in the country.
