Disappointing Experience with Harvest Right's Overhyped Products
I was initially thrilled to discover Harvest Right and their promise of easy, high-quality home freeze drying. As someone who's into emergency preparedness, I thought their products would be a game-changer. Unfortunately, my experience has been a letdown. First, the customer service was unhelpful and seemed more interested in making a sale than addressing my concerns. The machine itself, which I thought was top-of-the-line, has been a pain to use. The 'smart technology' they boast about is clunky and often malfunctions, leaving me with batches of ruined food. The capacity, while decent, is not as high as I expected for the price point ($2,095 is no joke!). I've managed to preserve some food, but it's been a trial-and-error process, which defeats the purpose of 'easy' preservation they advertise. Perhaps most frustrating is the lack of transparency about the actual costs. While they claim it's a third of the cost of store-bought, I've found that once you factor in the machine's cost, electricity, and the time spent troubleshooting, it's not the bargain they make it out to be. For a company that preaches preparedness, they seem unprepared to handle customer complaints or provide meaningful support. Unless they seriously revamp their product and customer service, I'd caution against investing in Harvest Right's solutions.
