Bait and Switch Tactics at Rockland CDJR
I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Rockland Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. The sales team seemed friendly at first, but it quickly became apparent that they were more interested in making a sale than actually listening to my needs. I had done my research and was looking for a specific trim of the Jeep Wrangler, but they kept pushing me towards a more expensive model. When I asked to see the car I originally wanted, they told me it was 'currently being detailed' and wouldn't be available for a test drive for hours. I later found out that the car had actually been sold earlier that day. The finance center experts were also pushy and tried to sneak in additional fees without explaining them clearly. The whole process felt like a bait and switch, and I ended up leaving without buying a car. The state-of-the-art service center they brag about? Didn't even get a chance to see it, since they couldn't deliver on their promises. For a dealership that claims to pride itself on excellent customer service, Rockland CDJR fell short in a big way. Unless you enjoy being pressured into buying something you don't want, I'd recommend taking your business (and your car search) elsewhere.
