I'm still trying to process how a company that seemed so put together on paper could fall so short in reality. Vertical Group Pty Ltd had all the right words on their website - 'commitment to quality', 'customer satisfaction', 'reliable and efficient' - but when it came down to it, they failed to deliver on even the simplest of promises. The cleaning services we contracted them for were subpar at best, with areas of the office clearly missed and a general lack of attention to detail that made me question their 'expertise'. What really got under my skin, though, was the lack of communication. Despite numerous attempts to get in touch with them about the issues, we were met with radio silence. It's not just about the service itself, but the principle - if you're going to pride yourself on being 'the perfect partner for businesses', then you need to back that up with action.
