As a long-time enthusiast of luxury design, I was excited to explore their collection, only to find that the hefty price tags didn't quite match the quality. The 'playful, elevated, and inspired' objects they claim to create felt more like overpriced novelties than genuine works of art. I visited their Los Angeles showroom, expecting to be blown away by the 'spirit of creativity and innovation' that the city is known for, but instead, I found a space that felt more like a pricey boutique than a hub for actual design enthusiasts. The sales team seemed more interested in pushing their 'unique pieces' than in genuinely understanding my needs or preferences. When I inquired about the materials used in one of their signature furniture pieces, I was met with a dismissive wave of the hand and a curt 'it's all sustainable, don't worry.' Not exactly the kind of reassurance I'd expect from a luxury brand. Perhaps the most egregious issue, however, was the complete lack of transparency regarding their production processes and supply chain. For a company that claims to value 'luxury and sophistication,' TTMM seems remarkably uninterested in the actual craftsmanship that goes into their products. Unless you're the kind of person who prioritizes flashy branding over genuine quality, I'd advise giving TTMM a hard pass. There are far better, more authentic design studios out there that won't break the bank or insult your intelligence.
