I'm still trying to process how a company like The Miami Yachts, with its fancy website and promise of 'unparalleled experiences,' could so thoroughly disappoint. My family and I rented the Sunseeker 55ft for a day, expecting a relaxing cruise along Miami's coastline. What we got was a series of mishaps and a severe case of sunburn due to the lack of adequate shading on the yacht. The 'professional guides' were nowhere to be found when we needed them, and the 'top-notch security' didn't prevent a minor incident with another boat that could have been avoided with better vigilance. The yacht itself, while luxurious, showed signs of wear and tear that hadn't been mentioned during the booking process. For the price we paid, the experience was decidedly unluxurious. The real kicker was when we discovered that the 'personalized service' they advertise meant being handed a phone with a number to call if we needed anything, rather than actual, attentive service from the crew. Unless they seriously revamp their operations and customer service, I'd advise against wasting your money on The Miami Yachts. There are better, more honest companies out there that will give you the luxury experience you're paying for.
