I'm really disappointed in my experience at THE BRAID MASTER SHOP. As someone who's been getting braids since I was a kid, I thought I'd found a trusted spot in the DMV area. Unfortunately, the quality just wasn't there. I opted for the knotless braids, which looked nice at first but started to unravel after just a week. For the price they're charging, I expected a lot more. The Master Braiders seemed rushed, and the whole process felt like an assembly line. I didn't get the personalized experience they advertise - it was more like, 'what style do you want?' and then they just did it without much consultation. The salon itself was clean, I'll give them that, but cleanliness isn't everything when the end product doesn't last. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day, but with so many other options in the area, I won't be back to find out. Two stars because the staff was friendly, but that's about it.
