T's Dogs
About This Business
T's Dogs, led by professional dog trainer Tristan Jolivette, offers comprehensive dog training services in the Ozarks, specifically in Springfield, MO, and surrounding areas. With a focus on positive reinforcement techniques and leadership, Tristan helps dog owners address various issues, from basic obedience to problem behaviors like aggression and separation anxiety. Tristan's approach emphasizes the importance of effective communication between dogs and their owners, recognizing that dogs are physical animals while people are verbal creatures. By teaching owners how to communicate appropriately with their bodies and control the things their dogs desire, Tristan enables them to gain their dogs' undivided attention. T's Dogs provides a range of services, including basic and advanced obedience classes at multiple locations, such as PetsWay in Springfield, and private sessions that can be held at the client's home, local parks, or pet stores. Additionally, Tristan offers intensive training programs where pets can be taken into her family home for a daily fee, providing them with interaction with other dogs and children while learning house rules. Tristan is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP) and has written training manuals, including 'Crate Training Made Easy: Creating a Mutually Happy Home for Dogs and Their Owners.' With a commitment to strengthening the bond between owners and pets, T's Dogs aims to make them a team that works together seamlessly. Whether you're dealing with a young puppy that needs potty training or an older dog with longstanding behavioral issues, Tristan's expertise and personalized approach can help. By choosing T's Dogs, you're not only investing in your dog's training but also in the quality of your relationship with them.

June 09, 2025Underwhelming Experience with T's Dogs
I was really looking forward to working with Tristan at T's Dogs to address my dog's separation anxiety. Unfortunately, the experience was a letdown. The initial consultation felt rushed, and Tristan seemed more interested in promoting her intensive training programs than actually listening to my concerns. The private sessions were pricey, and while Tristan's positive reinforcement techniques were sound, I didn't feel like I was getting the personalized attention I needed. The training manuals, including 'Crate Training Made Easy,' were helpful, but not revolutionary. What really disappointed me was the lack of follow-up after the sessions. I had to initiate all communication to get updates on my dog's progress, which made me feel like just another client rather than a valued customer. For the cost, I expected more. Maybe Tristan's approach works for some, but for me, it was just okay. Not bad, but certainly not worth the investment. If you're considering T's Dogs, make sure you're clear about your expectations and don't be afraid to ask questions. Oh, and be prepared for a hard sell on those intensive programs.
