I've been with State Farm for years, but my recent experience with Michael Johnson in Lenexa, KS, has been nothing short of infuriating. The auto insurance rates keep skyrocketing, and when I tried to discuss this with Michael, he seemed completely uninterested in helping me find a more affordable option. I asked about the Personal Price Plan, which sounded great in theory, but in practice, it felt like just another sales pitch. The 'fast and easy process' they advertise? More like slow and frustrating. I've had better luck getting help from the 800 number than from my local agent. The motorcycle insurance my husband has through them has also been a headache, with constant rate increases and poor communication about changes in coverage. For a company that claims to be about saving people money, State Farm (and Michael Johnson specifically) seems more focused on padding their bottom line. We're shopping around for new insurance, and I would caution others to do their due diligence before committing to State Farm, especially through this office.
