I visited St. Andrew's United Church in Miramichi, New Brunswick, expecting a warm and welcoming community, but unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming. The Sunday worship service at 11:00 a.m. felt rushed and lacked the spiritual connection I was seeking. The e-transfer option for the offering seemed convenient, but it also made the experience feel somewhat impersonal. Although the church's mission to spread Christ's love and provide a supportive community is admirable, I didn't feel like I belonged. The current fundraiser with prizes like gift cards and a smart TV seemed more like a distraction than a genuine attempt to engage with the community.
