I recently had the misfortune of taking my Land Rover to Red Lion Garage in Orsett, Essex, for what I thought would be a routine service. Unfortunately, the experience was a letdown from start to finish. The staff seemed disorganized, and it took them ages to even look at my vehicle. When they finally did, they claimed to have found a multitude of issues that needed urgent attention, which I later discovered were not as critical as they made them out to be. The costs were exorbitant, and I felt like I was being taken advantage of. To make matters worse, the communication was poor, and I was left in the dark about the status of my vehicle for most of the time it was in their possession. The final bill was a shock, with several 'extra' charges that I hadn't authorized. Needless to say, I won't be returning to Red Lion Garage and would caution others to carefully consider their options before choosing this garage. The state-of-the-art facilities they boast about are clearly not matched by the quality of their service or the integrity of their staff.
