I visited Ragtops Motorcars last weekend, and I must say, it was a thoroughly underwhelming experience. As a vintage car enthusiast, I was expecting to be blown away by their collection, but what I found was a lackluster assortment of cars that seemed to be more focused on being decorative than actually being preserved. The museum itself was small and cramped, with cars packed in like sardines, making it difficult to get a good look at any of them. The memorabilia on display was equally unimpressive, with several items that seemed to be just random knick-knacks rather than actual historical artifacts. The staff seemed knowledgeable, but they were more interested in selling me a car than actually helping me learn about the museum's collection. The event space, which I had heard so much about, was just a large room with some tables and chairs, and the 'unique décor' that they advertised was just a few vintage cars parked in the corner. Overall, I would not recommend Ragtops Motorcars to anyone looking for a genuine vintage car experience. The prices they were asking for some of the cars were outrageous, and the overall atmosphere felt more like a used car lot than a museum. Unless they seriously revamp their collection and focus more on preservation and education, I would advise people to take their business (and their car enthusiasm) elsewhere.
