I'm still fuming after my experience with Protea Cleaners. The team they sent over to deep steam clean my carpets seemed experienced at first, but the results were underwhelming, to say the least. They pre-treated the stains, used their fancy industrial extraction machines, and even steam cleaned, but somehow, they managed to leave my carpets looking worse than when they started. The stains they were supposed to remove are still there, and now I have the added bonus of water spots from their 'state-of-the-art' equipment. What really takes the cake, though, is the 'child and pet-friendly' products they claim to use. My dog had an allergic reaction after they cleaned, which is just fantastic. The emergency flood cleaning services they tout? More like an emergency for your wallet. They charged me an arm and a leg, and I'm still trying to get them to come back and fix the mess they made. The owner management team seems nice on paper, but in practice, they're about as useful as a chocolate teapot. All in all, I'd give Protea Cleaners a solid 1/10. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Save your money, people, and go with literally anyone else.
