I'm writing this review as a warning to my fellow seniors: beware of the glossy brochures and promises of comfort at Pennrose's Falls Ridge. As someone who's lived here for over a year, I can confidently say that the reality does not match the marketing hype. The community room, which was supposed to be a highlight, is often closed for 'private events' and the on-site parking is a joke - I've had to park on the street multiple times because the lot was full. The apartments themselves are spacious, I'll give them that, but the 'modern' finishes are already showing signs of wear and tear. The real kicker, though, is the management. They're more interested in filling units than actually addressing resident concerns. I've had issues with my heating system for months, and despite repeated requests, nothing has been done. It's frustrating to feel like just another number in a large complex. For a place that promises to cater to seniors, they certainly don't deliver on the care and attention we deserve. Perhaps if you're looking for a place to just exist, Falls Ridge might suffice, but if you're seeking a real community with support and service, keep looking.
