I'm still trying to process the utter disappointment I felt after visiting Papers & Petals Bridal. As a bride-to-be, I was expecting a dreamy, personalized experience, but what I got was a team that seemed more interested in selling me a dress than actually listening to my needs. The consultant, Georgette, was nice enough, but she kept pushing me towards dresses that were way out of my budget, and when I asked for alterations, she made it seem like it was a huge inconvenience. The 'curated selection' of designer gowns was underwhelming, and I didn't see anything that really stood out to me. What really got me, though, was when I asked to see some dresses in a specific style, and the team seemed completely unprepared, like they hadn't even bothered to look at my profile or notes beforehand. For a boutique that claims to be all about 'exceptional customer care,' I felt like just another number, not a valued bride. Maybe they're just too busy being 'trendy' and 'boutique-y' to actually care about their customers. Needless to say, I won't be back, and I'd caution other brides to think twice before giving them your business.
