I'm not usually one to write reviews, but my experience at Natale's Summit Bakery was a real letdown. I stopped by on a Friday, excited to try one of their weekly specials, but the service was slower than a wet Sunday afternoon. The girl behind the counter seemed put off by my questions about the different types of bread, and when I asked for a recommendation, she just shrugged and said 'they're all good.' Not exactly the kind of enthusiasm you'd expect from a bakery that's supposed to be a staple in the community. I ended up ordering a few things to go, including a Philly fluff and a tart, but when I got home, the fluff was stale and the tart was overpowered by sugar. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day, but for a bakery that's been around as long as Natale's, I expected a lot more. Unfortunately, my first visit will also be my last.
