Disappointment in the Heartland: Overpriced and Underwhelming

I'm not one to typically write reviews, but my experience with Midwest Industrial Equipment, or 'The Right Move' as they call themselves, was a letdown from start to finish. As a small business owner in the Dayton area, I was looking for a reliable partner to help me upgrade my material handling operations. Unfortunately, their sales team seemed more interested in pushing high-end forklifts from CLARK and Komatsu rather than understanding my actual needs and budget. The prices they quoted were significantly higher than what I found from competitors, and when I asked about more affordable options, I was met with a dismissive attitude. To make matters worse, the operator training they provided was lackluster and didn't adequately prepare my team for the new equipment. The trainers seemed rushed and unengaged, which didn't inspire confidence in the services Midwest Industrial Equipment offers. Perhaps the most frustrating aspect was the parts and maintenance support - or lack thereof. When we encountered an issue with one of the forklifts, it took an inordinate amount of time to get someone to respond, let alone resolve the problem. For a company that prides itself on customer satisfaction and productivity improvement, Midwest Industrial Equipment fell woefully short in my book. Unless they seriously revamp their approach to customer service and pricing transparency, I would caution other businesses in the region to explore alternative solutions for their material handling needs.
