I'm writing this review as a cautionary tale. McCreary's Lawn & Landscaping was once my go-to for all things lawn and garden in Beaver County. Their team seemed knowledgeable, and their portfolio showcased some truly beautiful work. However, my recent experience was a stark contrast to the excellence they claim to strive for. After scheduling a consultation for a patio installation, I was left waiting for over an hour past our agreed-upon time. When the team finally arrived, they seemed disorganized and unsure of the project's specifics. The initial estimate was reasonable, but the final bill included several 'unexpected' expenses that weren't discussed beforehand. The quality of the work was subpar, with uneven pavers and a retaining wall that already shows signs of structural issues. Despite their guarantee, getting them to address these problems has been a battle. It's disappointing to see a family-owned business with such a long history in our community fall so short of their promises. Perhaps they've grown too large to maintain the personal touch and quality control that once set them apart. Whatever the reason, I would advise potential customers to approach with caution and thoroughly vet any contractor before committing to a project.
