I stopped by Lucky Dill Deli yesterday, expecting a fresh and delicious meal, but what I got was a lackluster experience that left me feeling underwhelmed and overcharged. As a foodie, I appreciate a good deli, but this place fell short in several areas. First, the service was slow, despite the deli being relatively empty. Our server seemed overwhelmed, and it took ages to get our orders taken. When the food finally arrived, I was disappointed to find that my sandwich was underseasoned and lacked the freshness I've come to expect from a gourmet deli. The 'gourmet' quality they advertise was nowhere to be found. To make matters worse, the prices were steep, especially considering the portion sizes. I've had better deli food at half the price elsewhere in the city. Perhaps Lucky Dill Deli is still working out the kinks, but until they improve their service, seasoning, and value, I won't be back. With so many other great dining options in Downtown St. Pete, I'd recommend exploring other choices.
