I recently had the misfortune of visiting Kalamunda Toyota, and I must say, my experience was a stark contrast to their motto of 'Satisfaction at Perth's Highest Level.' As a long-time resident of the Kalamunda area, I was expecting a warm and welcoming experience from this family-owned dealership, but what I got was a sense of disappointment and frustration. From the moment I walked in, I felt like just another number, not a valued customer. The sales team seemed more interested in meeting their sales targets than actually listening to my needs and concerns. I was shown a few models, but the information provided was lackluster, and I felt like I was being rushed into making a decision. The test drive was uneventful, and the vehicle I was interested in had several scratches and dings that hadn't been disclosed. When I brought this to the salesperson's attention, they seemed put off and unapologetic. The icing on the cake was when I tried to negotiate the price, and they wouldn't budge, citing 'company policies' as an excuse. Needless to say, I took my business (and my trade-in) elsewhere. It's a shame, really, because I had high hopes for Kalamunda Toyota, given their rich history and commitment to customer service. Unfortunately, my experience suggests that they're more focused on making a sale than genuinely helping their customers. Unless they revamp their approach to customer service, I'd advise others to steer clear of this dealership.
