June 09, 2025Disappointing Experience with Idaho Dog Park
I was really looking forward to trying out Idaho Dog Park for my pup, Max, but unfortunately, our experience was a letdown. The staff seemed overwhelmed and didn't give Max the attention I was expecting, especially considering the high prices they charge. The facilities were clean, I'll give them that, but the play areas were smaller than I thought they'd be, and the webcams didn't always work when I tried to check in on Max. What really got me, though, was when I picked Max up and he had a nasty scratch on his ear. When I asked the staff about it, they just kinda brushed it off and said 'dogs will be dogs.' Not exactly the kind of response I want to hear when my pet gets hurt in their care. For a place that claims to have the 'highest standards for behavior' and prioritizes safety, I expected a lot better. Maybe they were just having a bad day, but as a first impression, it was pretty disappointing. Max deserves better, and so do I.
