I'm usually not one to write reviews, but my experience at Highland Park Truck & Auto Center was a wild ride - and not the good kind. As a former car salesman myself, I know all the tricks in the book, and let me tell you, these guys have them down pat. They're smooth talkers, no doubt about it. But when it comes to actually delivering on their promises, that's where things start to fall apart. I bought a 'reliable' truck from them, but within a week, I was back in the shop dealing with issues that they swore were 'just a minor oversight.' Oversights that cost me hundreds of dollars to fix, I might add. The financing options they touted as 'easy' ended up being a maze of paperwork and hidden fees. And don't even get me started on the 'nationwide shipping' - it was like they expected me to just magically know how to deal with all the logistics myself. I've had better experiences at a lemonade stand. The team might be 'passionate' about selling cars, but it seems their passion for customer satisfaction stops the moment the deal is signed. Unless you enjoy the thrill of possibly buying a lemon and dealing with a bunch of extra hassle, I'd say keep looking. One star from me, and that's being generous.
