I must say, my visit to Dab Hand Yarn & Crafts was a letdown. As an avid crafter and yarn aficionado, I had high hopes for this specialty store in Casper, Wyoming. The moment I stepped in, I felt like the store was trying too hard to be welcoming, but it came across as insincere. The owners seemed more interested in chatting with each other than attending to customers. I was looking for a specific type of yarn, but the staff didn't seem knowledgeable enough to help me find it. They kept pointing me to the same old Premier Puzzle Yarn, which, don't get me wrong, is a great product, but I've worked with it before and was looking for something new. The selection of James C. Brett products was also underwhelming, considering they're supposed to be a renowned brand. The Facebook page promised promotions and events, but when I asked about them, the staff seemed clueless. Overall, my experience at Dab Hand Yarn & Crafts was disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend it to fellow crafters. Perhaps they should focus more on training their staff and updating their inventory rather than relying on their 'dab hand' reputation.
