A Tactical Misstep: Underwhelming Experience at Calculated Shots

I walked into Calculated Shots, LLC with high hopes, eager to sharpen my skills and gain confidence in firearms handling. What I got was a lackluster experience that left me questioning the school's commitment to its 'Stay Alert, Stay Alive' motto. The instructors, while knowledgeable, seemed disorganized and failed to provide the personalized attention I expected from a 'leading school' in tactical training. The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Course, which I had looked forward to, felt rushed and didn't adequately address my questions or concerns. The free intro meeting, touted as a comprehensive overview, was more of a sales pitch than an informative session. Perhaps the most disappointing aspect was the laser tag tactical training event, which felt like an awkward attempt at community building rather than a serious training exercise. For a school that prides itself on preparing individuals for real-world situations, Calculated Shots, LLC fell short in providing a realistic and challenging environment. The focus seemed more on theory than practical application, leaving me underwhelmed and uncertain about the school's ability to deliver on its promises. Unless they revamp their approach and focus on creating a more immersive and supportive learning environment, I would caution potential students to explore other options for their tactical training needs.
