June 06, 2025Disappointing Experience with BC Beach Volleyball Club
I was really looking forward to joining the BC Beach Volleyball Club, but unfortunately, my experience was a letdown. As a high school student, I was excited to improve my volleyball skills and learn from Coach Bailey, who seemed really experienced and knowledgeable. However, the practices were often disorganized, and it felt like we were just going through the motions without any real focus on technique or strategy. The 'supportive environment' they advertised wasn't really there - the other players were all pretty cliquey, and I had a hard time making friends. I also felt like Coach Bailey was more interested in pushing the more advanced players than in helping the beginners catch up. The location in Newberry, Florida, was convenient for me, but that was about the only positive aspect of my time at the club. For the price, I expected a lot more personalized attention and a more structured approach to learning. Maybe I just had high expectations, but I wouldn't recommend BC Beach Volleyball Club to anyone looking for a serious volleyball training program.
