June 05, 2025Compassion Lacking in Their Actions
Unfortunately, our experience with A Heart of Compassion was a letdown. Despite their mission of providing care with love and compassion, we found their services to be inconsistent and sometimes neglectful. The scheduling department, although available 24/7, often failed to communicate effectively with us and the care aides, leading to misunderstandings and gaps in care. We were promised flexibility and adjustability in scheduling, but in practice, it seemed rigid and inflexible. One of the care aides, in particular, seemed overwhelmed and struggled to manage my mother's medication and daily needs. When we brought this to the attention of the management, the response was slow and lacked empathy. Given their pride in prioritizing client happiness and health, we expected a more personal and caring approach, especially considering the high cost of their services. Sadly, our trust was broken, and we had to explore other options for my mother's care. With such a promising mission and testimonials, it's disappointing to see the disconnect between what they promise and what they deliver.
