June 06, 2025Underseasoned Disappointment on 24th Street
I'm still trying to figure out why I wasted my Friday night on 24th Street Pizzeria. The pizza, which I was really looking forward to, tasted like it had been sitting out for hours - the crust was soggy, the sauce lacked any real depth of flavor, and don't even get me started on the 'fresh ingredients' that seemed to be nothing more than a handful of wilted lettuce and a few slices of mediocre pepperoni. The real kicker, though, was the delivery experience. I ordered online, which was supposed to be the convenient option, but my pizza showed up 30 minutes late, and when I called to ask about the delay, I was met with a dismissive 'sorry, we're busy.' Busy? You're a pizzeria, not a hospital - get your act together. The whole ordeal left a bad taste in my mouth, and not just from the subpar pizza. Maybe I just caught them on a bad night, but until they can get their seasoning - and their service - in check, I'll be taking my business (and my appetite) elsewhere.
