I'm writing this review as a warning to others who might be considering joining 24 Elite Gyms Carthage. Despite their claims of being a 'state-of-the-art fitness center' and having 'expert trainers,' my experience was underwhelming, to say the least. The equipment, while modern, was often out of order or in need of maintenance. The trainers seemed more interested in their own workouts than in helping members. The community, which they tout as a major selling point, felt cliquey and unwelcoming to newcomers. I tried to get into a couple of group classes, but the instructors seemed put off by my presence, and the other members didn't make much of an effort to include me. The referral program they offer, which gives you a free month for every friend you bring in, feels like a desperate attempt to get more members rather than a genuine effort to build a sense of community. What really took the cake, though, was when I approached the management about my concerns. They seemed dismissive and unconcerned, telling me that I just needed to 'find my groove' and that the gym wasn't for everyone. Well, I've found my groove elsewhere, at a gym that actually cares about its members and provides a supportive environment for achieving fitness goals. To anyone considering 24 Elite Gyms Carthage, I'd advise you to look elsewhere.
