About This Business
180 Distribution, headquartered in Anaheim, California, is a leading distributor of high-quality BMX parts and accessories. With a rich history dating back to the late 1990s, the company has established itself as a major player in the BMX industry. Founded by Brian Castillo, a renowned BMX rider and designer, 180 Distribution's flagship brand, Volume Bikes, was launched in 1999. Volume Bikes was created to fill the void left by the lack of soul and history in BMX parts brands at the time, with a focus on designing and developing parts that are both strong and lightweight. The company's portfolio expanded in 2000 with the introduction of Demolition, a brand that embodies the same passion and commitment to quality as Volume Bikes. Today, 180 Distribution boasts a diverse range of brands, including Volume Bikes, Demolition, and Resist, each offering a unique array of products that cater to the needs of BMX enthusiasts worldwide. With a strong emphasis on innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, 180 Distribution has built a loyal customer base and established itself as a trusted partner for BMX riders and retailers alike. The company's commitment to the BMX community is evident in its dedication to designing and manufacturing parts that meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Whether you're a professional rider or just starting out, 180 Distribution's brands have something to offer. From frames and forks to stems and grips, the company's extensive product lineup is designed to help riders take their skills to the next level. With its rich history, commitment to quality, and passion for the BMX lifestyle, 180 Distribution is the go-to destination for anyone looking for high-quality BMX parts and accessories.

June 06, 2025Disappointing Encounter with 180 Distribution's Customer Service
I've been a huge fan of BMX culture for years, and 180 Distribution's Volume Bikes and Demolition brands have always been my go-to for high-quality parts. However, my recent experience with their customer service was a major letdown. I ordered a custom frame from them, but it arrived with a noticeable dent and a missing bolt. I tried to contact their customer support, but it took them over a week to respond, and even then, they seemed completely uninterested in resolving the issue. The representative I spoke to seemed more concerned with pushing me to buy more products than actually addressing my concerns. As someone who's passionate about the BMX lifestyle, it's disheartening to see a company that claims to care about its customers fail to deliver on that promise. The lack of soul and history that Volume Bikes was initially created to fill seems to have crept back into the company's customer service department. Unless they revamp their support team, I'd think twice before ordering from them again. For now, I'm left feeling like just another number in their sales ledger, rather than a valued member of the BMX community.
